How to make DevOps a success
When: 4th November, 8:30am-10am
Where: Lower River Side, London
DevOps is becoming mainstream, this is Ovum’s prediction for 2016-17, and it rides on the success of agile development and processes. As organizations want to reap the advantages and promises of DevOps, and achieve fast application delivery, they find it a challenge. This is because organizations are entering the DevOps world with differing degrees of agility and are often faced with cultural challenges. This breakfast seminar will explore how to overcome these challenges and make DevOps a success in your organization.
Taking place at Lower River Side, as part of DevOps World, Ovum and Syntel are proud to host a neutral forum for networking and discussion on issues surrounding Agile, DevOps, and Automation in Software Delivery.
You will join likeminded senior industry peers to engage in a discussion led by leading Ovum analyst Michael Azoff, Principal Analyst in IT Infrastructure Solutions.
Questions for the Executive Boardroom to be discussed:
- Making DevOps work in multi-modal IT environments: whether mainframe and legacy projects, to maintenance projects, to agile mobile app development – there is a DevOps recipe for each mode of development.
- DevOps can work in all types of organization cultures: it is a myth that DevOps can not work in organization cultures that are controlled and top-down driven. DevOps can work in any culture, we explore how.
- The future of DevOps: we look at the next stage for DevOps and discuss the role it has to play in the wider IT environment and the business itself.
Following the discussion (which will take place under Chatham house rules), all attendees will receive a complimentary Ovum Report
